Its like I said a MG ZTT V8 260 SE, its in Xpower grey and 2004 car on 53 plate, its done 21,000 miles. Many thanks Stuart [aka Fleckers] |

Could be either a Mark 1 or a facelifted car (first Mark 2 was made 04/02/04)
If it is a Mark 1 then it is a very rare car indeed... MG ZT 260 Production run = 883 cars total Of which the first 217 are Mark 1s, with the remainder being facelifted cars. Of the 217, only 26 were Tourers. If you want a rare car, then a Mark 1 ZT 260 Tourer is the way to go. Mark 1 ZT-T 260s - Handbuilt Pre-production Cars VIN #004 VIN #014 <-- This is a 385PS prototype VIN #015 VIN #016 VIN #018 VIN #019 <-- Ex-P4 car in Biomorphic Green VIN #022 VIN #023 VIN #025 VIN #026 Mark 1 ZT-T 260s - Production Cars VIN #029 VIN #033 VIN #034 VIN #036 VIN #039 VIN #057 VIN #123 VIN #154 VIN #160 VIN #177 VIN #190 VIN #197 VIN #206 VIN #210 VIN #211 VIN #213 They are all SE spec except #014 - the only one with a '+' equivallent trim level. The first official Facelifted 260 was a Tourer too, Vin #218 All 260s are a bit special, with such a low build number they would be, but the Tourers are pretty unusual and the Mk1 Tourer is the rarest of the breed. I would be interested in the Reg and the VIN for the MGCC Archive (send to >> [email protected] << ), whether you buy it or not. Welcome.

Hi Stuart,
Your profile doesn't say whereabouts you are? If you're anywhere near Surrey, you're welcome to come and see how a Mk1 ZT-T runs when it's all going well Mine is the previously mentioned Biomorphic Green beast btw!

Joncon, there are a couple like this, Mark 1s retrofitted by the factory to Mark 2 spec - usually these were the press cars.
My data says that 217 is the last Mark 1 though, 218 was the first car to get the Mark 2 spec on the production line. Incedentally mine is the first true Mark 1, i have VIN #27 and this (apparently) is the first production car, VINs 1 - 26 were all hand built prototypes and used for testing and gaining approvals etc. ------------- Fleckers, thanks for the Reg number - if you could get the last three digits of the VIN (the build number) when you see the car then i can match the reg to the VIN in my database (we have the complete VIN sequences of the first 226 cars)
