Default K-Bus wire

Im fitting the coolant temp dispay but i cant find the K-Bus wire.

The description given is Red and White with a Yellow band every so often and can be found on the radio harness. I can see Red and White wires, but none with the Yellow band ever so often.

Anyone any ideas?

check this link has picture of wiring showing the K-Bus R/W/Y
wire is available elsewhere but definitely is located within radio harness as well

Thanks for the replies. I found it. Had a cuppa then tackled it again. It was not with the radio harness as advised. I found it rising from the passenger side footwell. Things are always better after a cuppa!

I should have asked earlier. After I "splice" into the K Bus wire, where would be the best place to connect live?

The gauge is great. Mine is in cupholder blank, bit of a poor angle but hey.

Mine appears a bit dim but works and if you adjust dssh brightness.. It even changes.

Thanks for the thread Yella Fella, and all the comments on the thread, very useful fitting the k-bus kit.I found the K-bus wire on the drivers side above the ignition.Great bit of kit and works a treat. The yellow spot on the red and white k-bus wire can just about be seen in the bottom picture.
