Default Warning to all owners, take great care.

Well I've got something to share and show you up close.
Today I did a oil change, it needed it ands normally I do it every 3000 miles, well it did over that around figure of btween 4000 to 5000.
that's longest I've done.

right I've removed the oil filter and found something which is quite worrying about our filters, it seems there so many copies and cheap versions of brand filter to watch out for.
There was a chunk of filter that had been destroyed.
See for yourself.
For god sakes do oil changes more often, after seeing this today I'm really glad that I do go over the top with oil changes,

I'll put the photos up in a bit so you can see for yourself.

Is there a way I can get photos uploaded to the site without having to store them a photo storing site.?

Can I upload straight from my computer?

go to 'my images' / click add image, / click browse and navigate to image on your PC click 'select '- file name should autofill into box next to browse button.

Under the image in my images select the URL with image box and copy the code - paste into your message and that's it.

Maybe if one bought oil filters from proper sources (eg DMGRS) then this wouldn't happen. . . .

I'd be interested to know where you did buy that filter from.

Ali.

I think you need to contact them about this. . . . They may have inadvertently bought a dodgy batch of filters. goodness knows how many they've sold or who to. If it is a dodgy batch then they need to issue a recall.

Better get them from DMGRS in future, the ones he sells are genuine ones.
