.gov MOT test history.
Just checking a test history on the .gov site and wondered if there is any way of telling where a test was carried out ?
I see the testing station number is listed but is there a way of cross referencing this to an actual station ? Thanks.

https://data.gov.uk/dataset/mot-active-vts
Lists all current MOT stations, with their station Number. However, the gov MOT history just gives the test number not the station number that carried out the test. I can't see any way for us mere mortals to cross reference the MOT test number with the Test station that carried out the test. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to shed more light on this. Ali.

When I looked up the history for my car, it showed the name of the garage and their phone number.

I stand corrected, it is the test number, not the testing station number.
Test number: 8685 3929 9805 Rover 45. KN51 HUZ Anyone tell me where it was tested ?

as posted before, the test number is a random generated number with no vehicle or test station info, it is, just "the test number" for that test!
