Default 1.8T Coolant Hoses.

These look a great price including the PRT. The bottom hose, if you can find one will cost you the price of this set which includes the thermostat and T Piece.

Buy them, and stick them in your bottom drawer.

Good find Pab, a set was always on the cards as preferred choice with/without PRT thermostat, having everything included including a replacement T-piece is a bonus.

At 10 years old and already suffering one hose failure it's a precaution worth taking at that price!

Ordered and on the way, was going to suggest to DMGRS good idea to source a kit due to cost of individual parts, will now have a look at heater hoses to complete the change in one go. One thought, is it better to modify or replace OEM stat with a dummy always assuming such an item exists, and a job for warmer weather I think.

Absolute steal at that price, i forked out just over £310 to replace all the coolant pipes & prt on GG & that never included new jubilee clips either

If I still had my 1.8T they would be winging their way in my direction, any cheaper, they would be giving that kit away..

Mmmmm new rubber!
Kit arrived today, all clearly factory assembled and possibly Roewe parts. One of the top hose ends has a spring clip to locate and fix it instead of more usual open end for jubilee clip, as can be seen at top of picture.

Quality looks OK though perhaps wall thickness smaller than standard hose, either way, should last a while and be less worrying than 10 year old hoses, and to boot, now will have the later PRT conversion as well.

3 sets still available if anyone else interested. See link in Pabs post #1

Chips,

Any chance you could put a couple of detailed pictures on the thread. A few members have asked my opinion over the quality, having not seen them I couldn't quote.

This hose kit is for Turbo variants. The small bore hose which come off the T Piece is for cooling the Turbo.

120 models have a different T Piece arrangement.
