You can have that feature activated by T4

My last 2 X mercs put all the the lights on and, the digital dash goes to a darker colour and the headlamp on light illuminates on the cluster.

Saying all that I'm not fussed by auto lights, I prefer Rain sensors.
yes the lights come on when someone from "ford" wants them to come on, not when you as a driver wants them on and I have looked at the dashboard thought great the light5s are on and then look again and the damn things have gone off.

Here you go Scott,
Daytime running lamps on or off (aka VOLVO!)
Speed locking on or off
Lazy lock and vent (using the door key only) function on or off
Single point entry (one press to open drivers door, second press for rest)
Headlamp delay on or off
Tail lamp delay on or off
Number plate lamp delay on or off
Intelegent wipe (wiper speed goes down a notch under 5 mph) on or off
Programed wash wipe (no program or 2,3 or 4 wipes)
One shot down on or off
One shot up on or off (drivers window only with 4 electric windows)
Lazy vent.

Shamelessly stolen from one of Chilljohns posts.

Lazy vent is quality. All windows go up/down if you hold key in unlock/lock position.

Never heard of lazy vent operating off the remote before. Certainly can't be done on the mk2 as a long press of the unlock button pops the boot open.

My Mazda 6 does it - it's a very handy feature in summer when the car's like a greenhouse.

... lazy venting from the remote (opening or shutting) - excellent for unlocking the car and dropping windows and opening the sunroof as you walk into the car park. By the time you got to the car all the overheated air had been got rid of. Really useful for the 1 week of summer.
