Default Servicing

I bought a lovely 75 saloon 1.8T Club SE back in April and have been looking around for a specialist in Essex to get it serviced/maintained when needed (I actually live in Colchester). I've found this place in Southend - http://www.mgroverrepaircentre.co.uk/index.html - and was wondering if any members have used them/can recommend them or perhaps even recommend somewhere or someone else. Many thanks in advance.

On the subject of which, I've noticed in the threads I've read that there is occasionally a small box beneath a post that says 'The Following User Says Thank You etc.......' I can't figure out how to leave thanks so I'd be grateful if someone could tell me how!

That's actually in Wickford, I had them recommended to me. Haven't had to use it yet personally but the feedback looks good.

Hi Andrew - if you look at the bottom right of each post, there's a Thanks button. HTH!

Thanks! But there are only three buttons available to me, one is 'quote' one is 'multi quote' and the third is 'quick reply'

It only appears for a new member after 10 posts - and you can only use Thanks 10 times maximum in one day or it will disappear for 24 hrs.

Cool

Check out MJSAUTOANDMARINE.CO.UK
Fully mobile and have a workshop in Littlehampton with 2 ramps.
Mike Stafford looks after my cars and has done for over 5 years.

Or

British Legends, there is a website, are based in Southend. Never used them but have good reviews.

Or

MG-ROVERSOLUTIONS.CO.UK
Again have never used them but they have good reviews. Russel Walsh is the governor. They are also fully mobile. Based in Wrotham Kent.

Thanks for the information. Already checked out mjsautoandmarine - there was a link in an earlier post. I'll have a look at the others too although there's no urgency at the moment as the service due reading is still over 5,000 miles.

What I would like to have done sooner rather than later is to get some minor bodywork blemishes sorted out.

Plenty of body shops around.

Or ChipsAway.com

I use The Bodyshop in Tomswood Hill Barkingide Essex. They have looked after my Monogram Sunspot Yellow ZT. Also had work done on the Firefrost diesel ZT I used to have.
Not the cheapest but I have always been happy with the work done.
