My first 75 was the only one I'd ever seen that had the letter and had actually had the protectors fitted! I think the majority of owners must have ignored the letter.

About 10 minutes each side..
Regarding the safety re-call. I had a letter from MG Rover in 2004 asking me to take my new 75 back to the main dealer for a safety modification. The MG Rover dealership only fitted the spring protectors and did not replace the front springs. Dave T |
