Default 75 saloon mod recommendations

Hi everyone,

after wanting a 75 for what seems like forever, i finally bought one yesterday, a lovely 2002 light blue CDT connoisuer

Id like some advice on the Mod available for the saloon to upgrade the looks of the car.

also interested in Handsfree kit, Decent cupholders, and a remap (unsure on what a good price would be)

any help welcomed nice to meet you all

Graham

You could fit torpedo badges, there are also some pre project drive items such as door reflectors and seat belt anchorage point covers. Drivers side cup holde, Xenon headlights and headlight wash. Led sidelights, number plate lights and interior lights.

In the engine bay you could also paint the top of the header tank, battery box lid, engine cover and fusebox cover. Also things like the air con pipes and strut mount bolts can be polished and slam panel bolts changed for stainless steel fixings.

First mod is a Jules plenum guard if you don't have one fitted already - potential for drowned ECU if you don't

I agree, plenum guard, then...

EGR bypass kit, Intercooler and inlet manifold washout, silicone turbo hoses, PCV vortex filter....

then the mods...

Xenon headlights (cats eyes of course)
Custom Message centre dial cluster
Personalised logo on your rear blind
17 or 18 inch wheels

Thanks guys
I'm looking for mods to improve engine performance and interior quality. The cup holder in mine is poor, only get about an inch of the bottom of a can inside it. Not secure at all!!

Anything that improves to curb appeal of the car. I'd like to maybe mesh to front grill but the bonnet opener comes through there so not sure on that one.

Have a look in the events and meets, get along to Thryburgh, plenty of other cars and ideas to look at.

Unfortunately I'm away that weekend fishing will keep my eyes peeled though for upcoming meets. Used to hit the mg-r.org meets regular about 10 years ago

Hi Graham, and welcome. I see you have a Conny but you can still improve with mods. As said, the re-map would be the best mod you could have, and you're near to the man who can do it, BigRuss in Liversedge. He'll also give the car a health check, best to have it running right before spending on niceties.
