That test doesn't half work better when done properly .. ..

So hi speed ok . as expected

Slipped my finger in the exp tank just now and felt the top suface , its showing the start of Emulsion ..

So its 2- Nil to the HGF's ....

So next often asked question is:............ which gasket

C.

PS..I've got all the kit ,plenty enough skill , and time, but not so much inclination nowadays, plus its not my car

Visit Mat at DMGRS website, good technical info and a whole range of gaskets together with explanation of which to use and when.

I should have used a few more words ...

I know of the usage's/ limits in fitting the MLS and Elastomer gaskets .

I thought there was another one in the offing, as used by NACMG , but seems this may just be an MLS variant with stronger bolts.
And another one thats not actually materialized yet .. from this thread

Is Exeter closer to you? There's a place there which has received good reports from forum users in the area.

Going to get a quote from my local Guy ( he did our ZR some while ago and its still ok after 37,000 miles)..

Will make sure he beats the MG guys or its their job

Today,, sun was out , so spent and hour and a bit with number one son, on the 1.8, pulled off the front , stuck on one of DMGRS resistors, and the low speed is back ..

Good but not the best mobile service in my opinion, google "Rough Luck Racing", a tad more expensive but he is very good and you get the man himself as it were!
I have used both outfits, just my opinion...

After getting the Low speed back on the 1.8. warmed it up this morning whilst the dizzles wndscreen was being fitted.

But on running the engine up the temps will still go up 100 then hover around 95 @ lowest to 100 highest and the Low speed doesn't seem to come on ?
