Have to see a councillor too as I've been getting quite low, I also fell last week in the road and bruised my side and smashed my phone.
I've also been having trouble with the DWP but after a bit of a battle my MP is on the case and hopefully will be able to help.
Monday this week though was an experience as we all were invited to a Gay wedding, the first I've ever been at. Turned out to be an OK day.
Good morning Trevor, thanks for letting us know how things are going for you. I am not surprised to hear you are feeling low, given what has happened. Seeing the counsellor should help you through. But do ask how many sessions are anticipated and steer clear of any counsellor who wants to see you 3 times a week. Counseling can be expensive and there has to be space for reflection and healing.

You went to a gay wedding for the first time, something I have yet to do, but won't be doing for some time as here in Kenya, homosexuality is illegal and carries a long prison sentence is quite barbaric in my opinion. I thought I should briefly mention this, in case any of our gay members are planning a visit. I am sorry to hear you had a fall and bruised your shoulder. Do get it looked at, if it bothers you.

All the best Trevor for the appointment on the 7th. Hopefully you will know more about your condition and how to best manage it, be it surgery, medication or both. Keep us posted.

Things can get better. Something I miss from when I was on the Morphine...I wanted to drive in the BTCC, drive fast, fly a plane Chin up

All the best for your appointment, Trevor.

I'd far rather go to a gay wedding than a sombre one.

Hi.
Not long back from the Golden Jubilee in Clydebank.
Have been told that I have significant decease on one side of my heart. The Registrar said that stenting is not an option and bypass surgery is the only answer.
I am now on the list and it could be up to 12 weeks.
All the risks were explained as were the consequences of leaving it, there is little choice in the matter if I want lead a half decent life!

Your result still better than mine, I have an abdominal aortic aneurysm but too close to kidneys for a stint, other health problems (COPD) prevents surgical operation so nothing else can be done and just have to accept situation and final outcome or which event will occur first.

Mustn't complain though, have 3 year check-up on Friday following radio and chemo therapy for lung cancer that had spread to lymph nodes, if goes as well as previous checks won't need another appointment for 6 months at least.
