Default r0ver 75 18t noise from glove box area

hi all ,after having had my over heating problem sorted and the car running like new ,i was driving home today and started hearing like a clicking noise what seemed to be coming fron the glove box,was a bit scared at first as i thought a rat had got in car as it had been in the garage for a couple of days lol anyone got any ideas as to what it might be ,im thinking that maybe it is a relay on its way out ,but hey what do i know ,any idea greatly recieved many thanks chrissyboy.

There is a fuse box and the BCU up behind the glove box. . The emergency fuel cut off reset is there as well. Not that that would be clicking.

is there any relays there ghost or just fuses, its too dark to see anything now especally as i have the limo tints in car .it sounds sort of like when you have a leaf stuck in the fan type of noise

Could actually be coming from anywhere, best to get a passenger to track it down when you are on the move.

Could it be the fuel vapour recirculation valve? This is attached to the side of the battery box and has a very loud click when the system starts up. It only runs now and then, usually when the engine's ticking over. From inside, it will seem like a very loud tappet.

hi t-cut no it wasnt that all it was was acouple of fuse`s was sticking out more than the rest so i guess it was arcing .i pushed them all so they was all level and i have not heard a peep since .i love these easy fixes lol . a rover is for life not just christmas
