Default fuel rail on a v6

hi all ,
my fuel pipe that connects to the fuel rail on the front bank has come away (long story)

does this push fit back into the fuel rail. I can see three sliver prongs as if it needs to be pushed back into place.
or do I need a new connector .

on the good side my fuel pump works well as I have found out as it pumped fuel across the coil pack

thanks

steve

If all is well, it should pop back in and be fine. It might need a turn or two to start.

I would question why it has come out, though. If it can't be held securely then that could be a fire risk.

There is normally a small nylon tab moulded into the rail that secures the metal plate in position, check this hasn't broken off, if it has you will need a new rail as it will come off at some point if its not clipped in.
