Default Wrong gear teeth rear ads problem

Hi All
Hope this makes sense
Just had a mate plug my 2.0cdt tourer into reader and came up with rear drivers side ads sensor faulty and gear thooth wrong on say side. How do I go about fixing the latter problem can get the ads sensor. Does the rear bearing contain the gear teeth?
