Default non starter

Hi
I drove my rover 75 v6 about twenty feet last saturday to weed kill my gravel , it started first time as it always had, today i went to start it it turned over but would not start plenty of power in the battery . It was on a bit of a hill on my drive but nothing to steep any ideas please . i looked under bonnet and oil , water , battery all seem fine

Default still wont start

Thank for the advice put my foot to the floor but still no joy. It turns over but just won't fire up cheers Steve

maybe the battery isnt up to the job ,although it might sound like it is turning over it just might not be turning engine fast enough, try a recharge to put some ooph back in to the battery see how that is .also check the small wire on starter hasnt dicided to come off .

If the small wire on the starter comes off the engine won't turn over at all.

Could be --
1/ Low fuel.

2/ FOC.

3/ Cam sensor.

Default still no go

well battery fully charged on trickle over night turns over a lot quicker but still wont go it has a quarter tank of petrol could I ask what is FOC . ? cheers steve

Put it into the 'search' box Steve and you'll be enlightened. When the two sections of the petrol filter loosen (on all but very early cars), the loss of fuel pressure causes non-starting. All that is needed is an orange clip to secure them again. Everything you need to know about this is already on the forum. It's been covered many times.
