Default rover 75 electric door mirrors not working

hi all my rover 75s electric door mirrors are not working. i have checked the connectors at the switch end and all fuses in the passenger side floor panel. is there any other fuses for these or any common wiring problems. the electric windows work of the same unit and they work fine. thanks folks

Mine played up on my new addition and it turned out to be dirty contacts on the switch,a joy to take apart with no springs and small bits pinging off into the distance never to be seen again, just a silicon push pad with captured contacts, bit of brake cleaner and all well again.

Agreed - that's the usual fix
Some meths on a cotton bud works well , also, to clean the pad.

Both metal contacts for each direction need to make contact for the mirror to move

Enough good advice given already but just to add...

Even if it doesn't look dirty, clean it. Worked for me.

IPA, alchol, or aftershave would have been better.

It is a prety common thing - and a good clean up with anything from white spirit to aftershave on the end of a coton bud usually does the trcik nicely.

Perhaps your application of WD40 didn't help very much? I'd be tempted to try cleaning again to make sure all residue of WD is got rid of.
