Red face Fixed drivers seat.

https://www.bespokeautotrim.com/

Used this company to fix an annoying tear in the drivers side leather seat. It is where your right buttock sits. Its on the base and acts like a spring. Every time I drove my right buttock sank and makes driving a pain. He commented that the material was a bit on the tin side for his liking.
Sometimes its the little jobs that give the best reward.

Thought I should add a photo of the finished seat. Best I could do as mist is hidden.

The 2 photos of the old long piece show where the rips were and how Rover possibly made the piece with a built in flaw.
The indentations on the out side edge are markers, the guy said in the business they mark with a pen/ chalk. But as you can see the rips used these markers as there starting point.
Also I have to agree when the handling it, it felt very cheap! The bloke could not figure out why it had a cloth backing?
At the end of the day I suppose it's done to cost.
Discovered he even fixed my seat belt. It would never travel back on its own and now it's does. 2 jobs for the price of 1 lol.
