So......in all seriousness, apparently the UK is completely salmonella free!

And despite being female.........I'm not fantastic at boiling eggs.....and poaching is impossible..........

You need one of these

Works for me every time. I hate the taste of vinegar so use these.

Here ya go then. Water boiling, eggs in (no more than 2 at a time) 5 minutes and 15 seconds, eggs out, perfect. During boiling you have time to do the toast and Marmite soldiers. Oh, and I guess you know, a quick run under the cold tap and ya won't burn ya fingers taking the shell off.

Rather weirdly, I too hated the taste and even the smell of vinegar. I used to have to beg for lemon for my F&C's and my SWMBO of the time, used to pickle onions. She had to wait until I was well out of the house to do them.

Since I stopping smoking, I seem to have gained a bit of a liking for vinegar. I never thought I would ever like salt and vinegar flavour, but this week I cannot get enough 'French Fries' S&V flavour .

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

It's not a proper boiled egg without toast soldiers though.
