Default Walnut gear knob

Which walnut gearknobs would fit our cars? I'm after one for my auto but i'm not sure which ones fit the 75.

Cheers.

Cheers.

Part no. is STC50458 for the auto (Land Rover used the same item).

They are available new, I think, but are quite pricey from what I remember.

Do look the part, though

Cheers,
Karl.

So I've heard. I tried for about half an hour yesterday but to no avail. My friend said he'd try removing it. Rather him than me!

there is a how to somewhere within the forum. However, my preferred method is to stand in the rear, a foot in each rear footwell, with knees slightly bent, and back arched a little. Move the selector to 2, grasp it firmly (rubber gloves can help purchase), using your feet as a fulcrum, with arms straight, as you pull, prepare yourself to fall backwards into the rear seat, and keep your head down. This method has worked well for me, but like everything we do nowadays, is not without risk of injury (so wear a high vis vest, and place warning triangles around the car lol )
