That year the house on the mountain in South African had burnt down in a wild bushfire, we lost the farm and we lost everything there. It took us 3 years to rebuild. We had to fight the insurance company and the robbers/looters who came at us night and day. Some of the locals told us to clear out of South Africa. But we resisted and stayed. Mixed emotions of anger, resentment and feelings of triumph. These experiences are supposed to make us stronger.

Getting back to the photos, we were on tour for 3 weeks, staying in lodges and camping in a tent, an escape back to nature, maybe you feel the same on the boat

Morning Phil,

I remember the photos of the house fire when you posted them Phil.
Heartbreaking but out of the ashes.........Came a phoenix .

Eight years ago........I was one year into my second MG ZT ownership
