Default Augmented reality!

I've been reading about this new technology BMW are using in their dealerships, re-training their technicians regarding their e-mini,i3,i4,i8 BEV's.

Blimey! mechanicing has changed a lot from repairing a car with a oily haynes manual in one hand & a spanner in the other

LOL You'd have BMW having a dicky fit mentioning a hammer & one of their cars in the same breath.

I'm told the glossary of swear words in the index will ne longer be required.

The guy in the video is just wearing a pair of Oakley Thumps.
I have a pair of those somewhere.

Not sure how much he can see with dark sunglasses on.

A friend of SWMBO has just bought a new Mini, she asked the salesman to show her around the car and one of her questions was ''where is the dipstick''? The reply was '' there is no dipstick''. Apparently it will tell her if it needs oil or water. The best bit is she will need to bring it into the dealer if it does as you need a special tool to top either of these up.

How is that going to work when this car reaches the used car market in a few years?

I'm not sure about need as the job can be done with out but it does or should make the job easier.
If there is no paper manual I hope the software does not fail the first time the mechanic goes to do a job as there will be no fall back
