Default Bullet mirror caps falling of

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question I don't know if I'm in the right place for that, But since I Bought my conny came with the bullet chrome mirrors and the caps were taped on. Now I dared to peel off the tape and the passengers side one doesn't stay on. My question is do I need to replace the whole mirror unit or just the cap. Additionally, could I retrofit Mk2 chrome mirrors instead I find the bullets tiny as well as the fact that most of them for sale online have the caps taped on
Regards,
Thanos.

Default

Bullets are secured by plastic clips which often snap. They can be repaired

Or you can simply remove the 3 bolts/nuts holding the body to the door & fit skullcaps
