Default Does Anybody Know What "LIMP MODE" is?

Help? When I turn on the ignition of my car it doesn't start and I can't get it to do anything. It doesn't say whether it's in Park or Drive and a message displays on the dash saying the car is in "LYMPH MODE". Does anyone know what this means and how I can solve the problem?

Thanks

Sorry, never heard of that one. Have heard of 'Limp Mode' where the ECU puts the car into a mode that enables you to 'limp home' until you can sort out a specific problem. Someone will be along to explain better and maybe tell me it is in fact Lymph Mode. Again, sorry i can't be specific because of my lack of knowledge but I'll follow thread to hopefully learn something because the people on here are so in tune with our cars.

sounds like it is in "LIMP HOME MODE" you must have a fault that put the car into this mode so no damage is done. you need a T4

Lymph Mode only happens in Doctors' cars.

Have you tried a battery reset or charging the battery, might be a shot in the dark but sometimes its worked with me, as these cars get very tempremental when the voltage drops in the battery.

That's for sure!

When my battery died recently I used a jump pack to start it for the school run - within a mile the engine was surging, indicators wouldn't work, instruments died etc.

New fully charged battery and these issues disappeared.

I think he's Googled "limp mode", which Google's never heard of, and it's come up with "lymph node" instead.

Better to have problems with the former than the latter...
