Thanks chaps. Now I'm in a quandary. You can't actually see the lugs in Colin's pic so they look ok to me. There again I don't fancy having to take them off every time just to wash the car (although water is pretty soft here).

The lugs fit between the lamp and the bodywork and so are completely concealed. Mike's point about using the protective pads provided for fitting and removing the covers is important.
I have'nt found it necessary to remove the covers too often but if the joints around the lamps are adequate (wide enough) it is a simple job.

i had them fitted to my headlamps for two years and they looked fine with no staining. Only took them off for a bumper touch up and am yet to put back

Question Headlamp protectors

I have a set of headlamp protectors for sale..never used as I didn't get around to fitting them to my 03 ZT-T. I was thinking of putting them on e-bay....Interested for a sensible price?

I couldn't agree more, however, I bought my 75 with a cracked n/s foglight. I know ebay sell them in pairs.... i only want 1.
