Default Help car needs fixed and transported

Hi everyone, I have saved a non runner from the scrappies, I bought it in Irvine but have no way of getting it to someone who would fix it for me.
Maybe a member between Irvine and Glenrothes would undertake the task which I would pay for. The gent I bought it from said an auto electrician was at it and said it was the ecu. The car is a 54 plate cdti auto tourer.
Any help or assistance would be most appreciated .
Thanks from desperate Garry.

Yes this was the car that was on Gumtree, if anyone has any information on the car I would be more than grateful. Just need to get it to someone who will repair it now, don't really want to break it. Interior is black leather with electric memory and heated and minted. Body could do with some tlc.
Silver, good for painting but not the best of colours, can't have everything, it's for the wife anyway.

Hi Paul, thanks all the same for the offer, and I'm sure with all the lads here I will manage to keep it road worthy, my problem is I don't know much about them, only what I have learned from this forum.
I have had a reasonable quote from a breakdown company to transport it to Glenrothes (hope he sticks to it) I might manage to get someone to repair it then, or gleam some information of the forum to enable me to repair it myself , thanks again.

You could also try shiply.com for tranportation. There's no obligation whatsoever, I've had some great value quotes.

Hi David, thanks for the lead, my hope just now lies with this chap who has given me a quote which I have accepted but not sure if he will carry out the job as yet, just keeping everything crossed as you say.
Then onto finding out the problem with the car.
