Prices of precious metals are going up a lot quicker than everything else. Steel was only £60 a ton and that was a good price at the time. Gold, silver etc is doing very well which is why the price of cats are up.

Two cats on a V6? other makes yes? (not KV6's).

TF's have been suffering this fate for a while now, time for a really good motion sensor alarm I reckon.

From memory of the remains I have in my garage, there is on before the flexi (covered by the under tray) the other one is further back behind the flexi. This was the one which got nicked.

Ahhh now that makes sense, only two on the genuine frontpipes.

However, my 51 plate ZT190 had the original frontpipe until around 12mths ago & when I replaced it, that had only one cat.

I've known the car from brand new & owned it for 10yrs so it was definitely the original pipe.
