Hello Again
Hi Guys
Hope we are all well under the circumstances, you may remember I had a couple of 75's in the last year or two, the lovely black Diesel Conn SE and the earliest RHD car S392DEH still on these roads.. last year was tough, family losses, shock redundancy after many years in a wonderful place, so my car collection had to be reduced as lack of storage and facilities to work on them meant I would have a lot less time. Well 12 months on its still very unstable, yes I kept working but I have to admit I really dont like where I am. A long commute, lots of staff instead of a small team and very long hours and its tough out there!. So anyway I am still around, I have just picked up a gorgeous Contemporary SE 2.5 V6 Auto for my parents who needed a cheap Auto, its a ex Rover demo with every option asides the rear blind, has only 67k on it and is in great condition, for £1100 with a fresh MOT! Currently its at Marshall Performance in Hatton (75 and ZT specialist) having all fluids and belts done.... but driving one again made my mind wander. I am hoping very soon to come out of the rat race, and be much closer to home, which will mean no company car in 20 years....so I will need a cheap interesting daily driver...only one choice for me really...... I will keep you guys posted! Its nice to be back. |

Thank you Simondi
I did check in a few times and see how it was all going. last year wasmade worse by having my facebook account hacked and closed down last year too . Anyway...I am back in the fold so to speak as I will be "project manager" for my parents 75, who do about 1000 miles a year, and I am of course on the insurance, ive already started with new badges, plates, sorting out the small areas of paintwork etc It also has a factory towbar too....which as I have always wanted a caravan will be useful. |

I sold it to a very “proper” chap called james in early 2019? I haven’t seen it since but apparently it was sharing a garage with an Aston Martin.

Well the itch has now become scratched as the guys doing the work on my stepfathers 75 Had just acquired a cowley...which was going to be a donor car for a very early AOX car... which was far too good to be broken.
So I’m back in the fold again! |
