Default Front strut bar for V6

Hi all,
Today, I installed a custom made front strut bar on my V6. The car has 154K miles on the odometer and has always seemed in need of a little more stiffness.
You can see the pictures.
I can say that I'm pretty happy with the look and it’s effect. With strut bar I feel a completely different car, the accuracy of driving improved, particularly in cornering and when driving over bumps, steering wheel became clearer.
I think it’s necessary thing, especially on our bad roads. I did not expect such a big effect. The handling difference is amazing!
Material and work costs includind painting were around $50.

Looks really good, you could make a lot of money manufacturing those for other members, got to be worth £60 of anyones money.

Sorry versus. Had a problem with opening photos.

Edit I see now. Only two pictures would open here. Now that DOES look good

I'm sure that you will feel a big improvement in stiffness.

All photos open OK. How do you lock the centre "width" adjuster as it is not fitted with locknuts?

I really really like that. Dam **** cheaper than the eBay one I'd ordered (and has been missing in post since but that's another story).

I'd buy off you all day long.

Can tell you now, see if you figure out a way to build it with one piece of metal instead of the lock nut also I'd take several.

Our cars will respond well to these no matter how stiff the cars are, equivalent if adding a second anti roll bar.

You should offer to make a few and see if there's interest.

A rear one for the strut tops would be good also (especially for cars that didn't get the anti roll bar), if you figured out a way to make it quick removable also so people can leave it in 95% of the time and then remove for big loads in boot.

You would have two serious winners there.

Versus, what is the box of tricks with the orange pipe attached to it at the front of the engine? (I haven't got that on my V6)

That looks awesome, and unlike the 'show bars' you see these days, I bet it adds some rigidity too.
Top work.

Looking good thought of making these before.
Wouldn't be to difficult to rattle a few out once you have made a jig up.
