Afternoon everyone.

Well, I'm a happy bunny today.

The Passat went in for her MoT. She's 12 years old (yes, I know, a mere youngster ) with 142K on the clock.

Added stress is that she's NEVER failed an MoT - which is sort of why I bought her - as what's turned out to be a stop gap between 75's.

And........

Passed with NO advisories. .

Meanwhile the weather is warming up with a fair bit of blue sky.

She might even get a decontamination, claying and proper waxing for being a good girl.

All in all a pretty good day so far.

Andy.

Rich - at least try and get some ice on that ankle to minimise the swelling. And yes, rest it if you can but completely understand that you're mega busy at the moment.

Morning all, sunny and bright with a fresh breeze here today, through trying to work with a dodgy ankle yesterday the same thing happened again, not as bad but still bl00dy painful.
Went to bed early last night after the atmosphere in the house was ”icy”,had a rough night sleep wise so just as well I only have a couple of jobs today.
No rest though as mum is coming home from hospital this afternoon so I have to pick her up around 4pm

Morning Andy, Congrats on a clean bill of health with the Passat, 142K! That engine will be just about run in at that mileage

I was watching the Chinese-VW incarnation version of the Passat t'other day called the e-Lavida reviewed by the most British chap I've ever seen Nice motor & nice price €18K.

G'day one and all - and it's another sunny one, so I've done my chores - a washing machine full now on the line - with a bit of breeze, so it's good drying weather. With a bit of luck, all the creases will drop out and there'll be no need for the iron

Evening all, Not a bad afternoon here, I've been planting up onion sets & garlic cloves in the greenhouse for next year.
Gammon joint with herby potato wedgies & broccoli for tea tonight.

Cool

Evening all. Been a very busy and productive day. Today with the help of Allen and Matt the greenhouse/enclosed compost heap was finally dismantled. You have never seen so many screws holding The unit together. Most are stainless steel.

Good morning - is there anyone out there, or has everyone (but me) been abducted by little grey men from Alpha Centauri ?
It's sunny and warm again - as long as you stay in direct sunlight.
The most exciting part of today is likely to be dragging two wheelie bins down the drive ready for collection - I think I can cope with the mental and physical exertion

G'day sun worshipper - I've just been down the bottom of the garden and it isn't as warm as it looks. Definite lack of members in the LCOZ this morning, although based on a post by Arctic there have been some problems with the web site this morning?

PS There ARE problems with the website - some of the links aren't working, so that may explain the lack of people in for breakfast.
