Morning all, another hot one here, I’m dreading coming back to the coldness!

And the quarantineness. Morning all, as if things couldn’t get worse, they have. Half way through a carpet cleaning job yesterday,I stepped over the bottom stair and twisted my ankle, you know when Your foot goes inwards at the ankle joint suddenly? *‘Kin agony!, I now have to try and do a day,’s work, then go visit mum afterwards. What did I do wrong in my previous life?

I can offer you 22°C on the North Yorks Moors Andy - if it stays like this, I may need to get the shorts out again. Must be about 10° warmer than yesterday.

Morning Andy Morning all, Very mild here with 20C temps, This is the second morning I've sat in the conservatory & heard geese honking as they fly over in 'V' formation heading south, Do they know something we don't like a bad Winter on the cards or are they just getting ahead of the game & bagging the best real estate in the Wintering grounds.

The consensus seems to be that geese start heading South around mid-September - so a wee bit early perhaps.
A better guide to the forthcoming Winter is how many rosehips are in the hedge rows - the more berries, the worse the Winter

I'm sure the Costa del Norfolk will be a few degrees up on North Yorkshire.
Are there any shops near you that sell woolly fleeces?

Well begger or words to that effect!, I thought to meself I'll go into town whilst Wilkco's are having a 70% off all seeds/onion sets sale, It's easier to get on the train to Wigan than into Bolton least amount of walking involved from Wigan Wallgate station to the Wilkco's store It looked like locusts had cleared the shelves not a single packet of seeds left anywhere.
