Been absent from the lounge for the last couple of weeks due to an awful lot on my plate, still got a bit to get through but almost there. My mum's carer went off sick two weeks ago meaning we had to step up to the mark and take over. I had to sort out a new care plan for her as with us both working full time and living 15 miles apart, we can't continue keep up the pace we are currently doing.The original carer is still doing lunchtime but the new company will take over the tea time.

Got a couple of little jobs to do this morning, fit a winch to the top of the steps to assist my mother with my dad’s wheelchair & pop a window reg into my “new” 75.
Other than that I’m doing nowt today, if I get done in time I might pop across to the Lakeland Motor Museum this afternoon

I can't believe my eyes - it's a Bank Holiday (last before Christmas, just to remind you) - and the sun is shining

Mind you, it's not as warm out there as the sunshine and blue sky would have you believe - definitely a chill in the air.
(another) idle day at home today - no point in going out anywhere - it'll be packed.
