For the second day running, it's dense fog with a really heavy sea fret type dampness - it's been roking on non-stop. You can't physically see the rain, but it certainly gets you wet.
Got my newly refurbished alloy wheels (and the car they're attached too!) back from the garage yesterday. I'm well chuffed with the result - they look as if they're fresh off the shelf. I paid £234 all in - which I think is a reasonable price for what they did.
All is needed now is for your daughter to get her new wheels, courtesy of Bank Of Dad

Euuuuwwww! 🤧 The hot weather over the last few days has left it's mark! I've just been out to the green waste recycle bin to throw out some vegetable peelings/teabags (My compost bin is full ) and it's crawling with maggots

Cool

Afternoon all. Still not feeling all that great.

But been out to get some shopping, oh but the traffic. The A30 is shut re a police incident. So everything is either on the A38 and the A388 and they both converge at the roundabout in Carkeel. Still it pays to be a local and know the quick way home.

It’s very humid here, hot and sticky.

Hi Bob, is there someone who can look in on you with a nice single malt whilst your feeling under the weather, give you some pampering? Keep posting, do take care.
