At least they didn't try the stunt that one garage did to us. They charged us for 5 lots of 1 litre of oil - at the cost of 5 litres per litre (about £200 in oil ). It was an "oversight" apparently . They've since gone bust - I wonder why .

Labour sounds like 1-2 hours and MoT is at about full price. The quote for the cambelt is very similar to the one I need for the Passat in a few months time.

Take care.

Andy.

Thanks gents, oil was 35 for fully synthetic, oil filter 13, pollen filter 11 air filter 13,fuel filter 17 and fuel treatment 15. I guess we have been spoilt by our previous garage, they charged about £40 per hour including the vat, this garage must charge 40 plus vat.

Morning all,
Overcast here but it is very close and sticky.
Sun is meant to be out during the day with temperatures rising. Tomorrow the mercury should be in the thirties

Will be interesting to see how the weather pans out over the weekend..................In Norfolk

Took this last night of our garden visitor (Boris) just before 21.00hrs

I'm so impressed with the quality that is achievable with the iPhone 11.
Not quite ready to hang up my DSLR yet......but the phone is certainly capable of returning very usable images

It's much the same this side of the Pennines too - not much sign of the sun I'm afraid.
Final preparations for re-opening my Club today - 5.00pm tomorrow and we'll be opening the doors and trying to slake the thirst of dozens of desperate members (or not, as the case may be).
Judging by what's going on in Aberdeen and other places, it may not stay open for very long

I've got a reasonable cider supply in the garage mate - accidental over-order on last Morrisons home delivery. By the time I realised I'd hit the wrong button when I was placing the order - it was too late
