Whatever you decide on, PLEASE make sure that your cycles are secured on your car, as I lost a good friend who was hit by an unsecured push bike that fell off a car and hit him whilst he was riding his Motorbike!

Saris Bones is the best cycle carrier, fits on the 75 perfectly. Don't get the 2 bike one though, go for the 3 bike

I have a rear mounted carrier, good for 3 bikes.

Arms adjust to fit any car.

You can have it for £30, cost £89.99 new

Erm, exactly this happened to me when I was on my bike.
Do we know each other

Anyway thanks for the suggestions.
Of particular interest is the front wheel off and in the back option, except my seats don't seem to fold down flat.
Or am I missing something.

Simon
Would it fit on my ZT facelift with lip spoiler do you think?
Alternatively would it cope with a ZR roof spoiler
Will have a close look shortly thanks in advance

If i wanted to ride a bicycle i would not have bought a prestige motor car..

Bicycle people are a menace and belong on a bicycle track in a field.

With jeremy Clarkson and a caravan...

I would hazard a guess it being fine on the zt as the feet would be on the top and bottom of the boot lid, clearing the lip spoiler. I would have thought the straps would pull in the ZR spoiler though.

Sorry to hear that Mark.
It just reminded me that when we went to Wales last year, on the opposite carriageway of the M6, 3 bikes had fallen off the back of a car and got mangled by a few lorries. Luckily no crash, but I saw the pretty foolish and embarrassed looking owner, stood next to his car on the hard shoulder, with an empty cycle carrier on the back of his car
