Default Must See TV Program 2

'The Great Train Robbery'
Tonight 8pm BBC1
The Robbers View tonight, with a coppers view part 2 tomorrow.
Quite ironic timing considering Mr Biggs died this morning.

Just watched them talking about it on the BBC Breakfast news, looks like a really good watch.
Remarkable timing as you say, just like the Mandela film being released just as he dies!

Just said exactly the same thing about Mandela too.

I listened to a review of this on the radio yesterday, sounds very good. Interestingly it was written by the same guy who wrote "Broadchurch"

My thoughts entirely. From the radio review it sounds like he's done his research. Quite an interesting way of doing it over two episodes showing both points of view.

As a youngster I used to see Buster Edwards on his flower stall outside Waterloo. Until recently (well 10 years ago) the stall was still there being run by a relative.

As retired Royal Mail employee, and ex Mail Train manager ,I am looking forward to seeing it,I have read 100's of books and seen several programs concerning the robbery,it will be interesting to see how they portray it.

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams
