I liked the first couple of films but when it gets to 6 or 7 . . . . Still a sad loss, when you look at the pics they must have been moving. Anybody else think it's somewhat ironic that he died in a car crash.

PS, any chance a mod could combine the three(!) threads running on this subject!

Went to a Memorial Meet in Southampton tonight at West Quay Car Park....

Must have been a thousand cars there! I was truly surprised!

Not only that, I did not see a single Police Car or Policeman... And it was all very sedate - strange.

A couple of odd cars I saw....

A lowered Merc with Air Suspension:

An old Capri:

A tatty old VW:

A really clean Disco:

I must get for my R75:

A nice Celica:

An MX-5:

An old Cortina:

My mode of transport there - A Micra:

A friends MR2:

A clapped-out Mini:

Not sure how many bays there are, about 800. but there were people driving around and around because there was no spaces left!

Ciao.

Cool, still love that shape MB, Had a 280SE 3.5 Coupe for a little while in the 80's..Maddest & baddests was the AMG (yep they were doing it then too) 300SEL 6.3 V8 bored to 6.8Ltrs. 428HP, 0-60 in 4.2sec and topped out at 165mph all from a 2 tonne 5 seater luxo barge..

My idea of a 'proper' car..

And rest in peace to the other guy in the car but because he is not famous, nobody seems to think of him.

Mmm I haven't seen any of those F & F films...........they never appealed to me one bit.
I could never understand the endorsement and trivialisation of racing through streets .
It is ironic and of course a tragic ending.
