Default Today a bought

a spare webasto FBH at a breakers.
Last time I got one from this place I paid £25 and told them so.
This time I paid

£8.33 plus vat
Every part they told me how much it would be was cheaper when they looked it up. I also got a handbrake gaiter, a lot of screen trim clips, managed to get most off without breaking them and front door rubbers, one of which I've already fitted
Even if the FBH is faulty and I need to pay for repair it will still not be expensive.
To say I'm delighted is an under statement.

I'll swop the FBH pcb with one fitted to my car and see what happens

I bought one (advised as fully working, just removed from the car&#128580 from a farcebook chap recently, and started servicing it st the weekend.

And a small sample of the detritus freely emptied out of it...
I’m in the process of combining the “good” bits from it with another non runner.🙄
By good bits, I mean the dosing pump, support brackets with mounting rubbers and exhaust.🙄🙄

I've waited ages to find another fbh.
One of the guys there has taken my number and has said he will give me a call if another one comes in. They were just going to scrap it but he suggested they give breaking it a try.
I'd meant to check for highline dash but forgot

Just bought it from someone random on Facebook, that was breaking a car.
No, never seen one that sooted up either, but I’ve only just had 3 apart for servicing before.
I couldn’t rightly say if that is the norm for a 14 - 17 year old unit that’s never been serviced.
Just bought it cause it came with the pump, mounting bracket, rubber mounts, and exhaust.
The FBH was a bonus.😬
