Trip down memory Lane...................................
.................................................. in Fowey today. Val and I spent our last holiday together here. And my first time back on my own. Did come back with Allen & Val 2 years ago.
Moorings. The car ferry to Polruan. Rook with a book. A novel by Daphne du Maurier who lived here. Overlooking the estuary. To think that this road was two way at one point. Now one way.

Val and I stayed in the Fowey Hotel now called the Harbour Hotel.
The passenger ferry to Polruan. £2.50 return. Fishing boat. Overlooking Polruan. Bit of history. Blockhouse is open to the public on the Polruan side, the one on the Fowey side has fallen down.

Love this place, but the property prices equal London.
Bishop Punts cross, now called Punches cross. Marks the boundary of the Bishop who used to collect the tolls to enter the harbour. (Picture a bit grainy). Taking a photo into the sun has it's benefits. The phone box is now a book store. Redfive had a wash yesterday, bit grubby again. Looking up the river Fowey.
