Default Junk Mail

Hi All I seem to be getting quite a lot of junk mail lately, either by way of my email being added to or forwarded with junk messages or sites, please beware that once these come through to my junk if your email address is the one it as been sent from or forwarded from it will be blocked, therefore if you needed to contact me at a later date you may not be able to.

Some may say so what ? others may not realise example below.

Stuart

If this was unintentional then you would have to PM me to unblock you that is if you wanted me to of cause, thank you for your time cheers Arctic.

Hi Steve. I received exactly the same rubbish for Christmas. I just hit the delete button. It's getting worse with junk Mail lately.

Hi Cliff.
No pm received when was that, ? all PM through via the club go right into the inbox so, I should have received, it is emails from members that forward or send junk that will get deleted and blocked right away.

David i to hit delete but my pc works delete & block, so any member whom inadvertently forwards emails i am afraid will be blocked, and may not know that is why i started the thread so the member would know, and if wished to contact me may do so through PM and i can check if they have been blocked by mistake.

Steve, depending on what email client you are using, you can bounce back the email to the sender, once blocked.

You should have 3 options.
1: Block senders email address.
2: Block senders domain.
3: Bounce back the chosen email to sender.

Most of the above was sent by a Bot and at this time of year it naturally increases.
I never pay any attention to it and just delete on mass.

I will look into option 3, I like the idea of that, where would I find these options?

Can be found under the 'Safety Options' tab in most email clients.

Look for the 'Blocked Senders List' these will be all the email addresses that you have blocked.

You should have a few boxes to 'tick', one should say 'Bounce the blocked message back to the sender'.
