ZTT 190 air intake advice requested.
I've just taken off the air filter box. There's an inlet pipe tucked under the passenger side wing which I'm guessing is possibly the Shannon tube. This pipe has a small circular flap at the bottom of the bend which I'm guessing is a drain flap for water, but it seems to be stuck. Then a wire reinforced round flexible tube (internal diameter 3") connecting the bottom end of the rigid tube to the air filter box. Where the flexible tube enters the box it is terminally frayed and drawing a lot of air through the perished section. I'd like to replace it, but the picture on Rimmers shows an elliptical intake to the air filter box and no options which match my set up? I did think about just wrapping duct tape around the end, but any advice would be appreciated.
