Default Can a zt tow a zt on a car trailor?

With the purchase of the monogram and now the 620ti I need to ditch the freelander before mrs190 tears me a new one. I was going to tow the monogram I've bought with the freelander but wondered if I can legally tow the monogram with the copperleaf or will it be breaking the law?

yes you will be, the 75/zt can only tow up to 1600kg,so with the weight of the trailer and the car combined ,you will be over that limit. The Freeloader should be able to tow it ok though.

I'll just hire a car transporter. Safer and legal.

youll have to put the zt on a 7.5t transporter if you want to be legal. im pretty sure all zt's weigh more than 1500kg, and the max capacity of the 3500kg transporters tend to be less than 1500kg.

the freelander had the same towing capacity as the 75/zt so youll be overweight with that too.

other option is tow it on a trailer behind a transit or 4x4

happy days

that's definitely the easiest and safest way of moving your zt.

what van is it? that's a good capacity, usually they are a little less and the 75/zt are normally boarder line.
