Default what does one click of the remote do?

I have a facelift diesel.
What does one press of the remote unlock do?
As I have single point entry is it just unlock the drivers door and what about the other doors, does it remove (undo) the dead lock? I ask as there seems to be a clonk from the other doors and my drivers door is not unlocking. I can open it with the key and it seems to lock via the remote.

Has the actuator failed?

Well on my facelift diesel one click unlocks all the doors, long press will release the bootlock as well.

Has the actuator failed?

macafee2
This is exactly what mine did, actuator failed.

Every now and again it might catch and start working again if you play with the interior lock button, but eventually it will fail again.

I think Freelander td4 ones fit too, bit awkward to do until you've done a few......

Depends if you have global locking enabled I guess.

Both my cars and my wife's car have single point entry enabled. I see it as a security feature
