The last competition car built by MG Sports and Racing was a racing version of the V8 MG ZT260. This car was highly modified and lightened it had more power than the standard V8 and a lightweight racing bodykit. The car is now owned by an Australian MG Enthusiast who races it competitively. It is painted dark grey in colour........(taken from wikipedia)

Brian Luti's Dreadnought MG ZT 520, campaigned by his son Paul, was a regular on the track too.

Thanks - that's a great picture ! Possibly even more reason to dive into the BMIH archives.

More of an aesthetics question here (and ignoring the other differences that this track car will have) but am I right in thinking that this car is not fitted with the extreme kit - instead it looks like bolt on arches and some sort of custom skirting?

I think the Chinese entered a car in aChina race, don't no if it was factory or private. If I remember the article it won the race.

What's the use of putting up a build thread when I am told that I do not have permission to read it, this seems to happen a lot on this site

As far as I know the Extreme kit fitted by Lifestyle was moulded off this car. It was a genuine MGR racing development car.
