My local area is littered with 75s and ZTs - they're everywhere.
I've even got some of them to wave back...

This is my retro

The photo doesn't show the lacquer peel, nor the piece of biscuit tin screwed over a hole in the front left wing.

Currently it is off the road because it failed the MOT on emissions. One of the carbs has been rebuilt but it seems that the problem might have been with the other one... At least it didn't fail on anything else.

I love seeing things like that on the road Once I've got the space who knows.... I'd like one of my own. Seeing Mr Estate-Agent this weekend about a more palatial residence so I'll see how much money I've got left after I find a place with more parking!!

Sadly I don't have any more info on the Marina, other than its a belter and local. I might have another pic of it if I can find it...

Really my old man had two well a Marina and an Ital and they were horrible. I know they have their fans as every car has but under rated?.

Both of dads car were relatively new when he bought them but after a year or so of ownership I remember him working on them weekends to get to work on a Monday and boy did they rust

Still I fully understand everyone likes different things and its only my opinion

Back to the thread I have noticed a lot more people spending time and money on these cars now. To be honest it seems they are owned more and more by enthusiasts which is good news

The Orion lives a few streets away from me, so although it was actually ay the same show, I didn't snap it.... by way of consolation it is in the background of some of these other modern classics at the very mixed but excellent show, and there is the reverse view of the Marina too!

I learned to drive in a Sierra very similar to that... that and an AX diesel!

I don't know how many images you can put into a post before people get upset but I think I might be on the way to it!

This is my retro classic.

Under going a complete restoration at the moment due to rust

201,000 miles original engine and gearbox. Only had a clutch and two valves burnt out

Rolling roaded at 196,000 and made the factory 157bhp

There's a Rover P6 down my road. I swear it is a scale model compared with the one's I remember from days of yore.

Oh happy days. I had two of these back in the day. One pre facelift in Silver then a facelift blue one. Loved these cars. Good luck with the restoration
