Default It's hard to let them go.........now sold

I thought I'd post a couple of photos of my moonstone saloon whilst I still own her.

I'm very reluctantly selling the most reliable 75 I've ever owned having spent the last six months making her mechanically perfect.

I'll be leaving the club's sticker in her rear windscren hopefully the new owner will join - the Manchester United cap has already taken up residence in the new tourer

The only thing I had left to do was retro fit a leather interior .....

... and dress the engine bay, but those will have to be the next owner's projects if they want to take them on.

It's crazy how attached we get to these cars

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum.

However, as you are selling, by Club Rules you need to provide a price.... ono or ovno is acceptable when selling a whole car

EDIT : Some more details on the car could also be useful.....

Sorry, but I don't understand - I wasn't posting an ad so why would I have to state a price?

I posted the images because they'll be the last ones I take of the saloon - the fact that it's for sale was merely background info.

If I post an ad I'll post it here with much more info, like service history, work done, mot etc etc.

If the thread is a problem just delete it please.

Sorry, but you posted that you were selling, without the above explanation. And by implication the thread title, followed by the thread content (OP) implied that you were selling.

As you are a subscribed member you can offer it here... but a price is required. If you do not want to sell it on the Club's forums let me know and I will remove the thread. But you may as well take advantage of the facility herein to sell the car to an enthusiast

Okay, well the car I wan't advertising because I already had a buyer has been collected.

It's highly unlikely that I would advertise a car for sale on this site due to my location, but I can see why using the word selling caused you to misunderstood my intentions and will make sure I'm clearer about them in the future.

In my mind what I posted couldn't have been further from an advert if it tried.

Ah well, learning curve for me I guess.

Could you edit the title or something to let people know its sold please?
