Hi Peter, hope you are keeping well and it's been too long. Is it OK if I show up for a hearty breakfast and a gossip?

Hi Peter, very sorry but I'm going to have to cry off I'm afraid.

My car has been up for sale and I had a really keen buyer who wanted to collect the car Sunday afternoon which would have given me the chance to attend the meet Sunday morning. Unfortunately that buyer pulled out as he decided it was too far to travel, however a local guy saw the 'For Sale' sign I had put in the car window and took the car last night.

I won't insult everyone by turning up in it's replacement a VW Golf Estate, I'm still not sure why I bought it and can't help thinking I've made a stupid mistake . Still too late now and maybe I'll grow to love it in time.

Always worth going just for the breakfast, but your experiences may help others. Good luck with looking for a decent car!
