Default Tazu delivery times?

Hi, anyone ordered direct from Tazu?

If you have can you give me a rough idea on delivery times and what their communication was like?

Just ordered slave and master and haven't really got a lot from them re invoicing and delivery dates.

Cheers

Dave

Took about a week to get delivered to me when I ordered a master cylinder last year. From memory I got an order/payment confirmation email, and then another when it was despatched with the details of whatever courier they used.

Out of interest, will you be sticking with the copper pipe on your diesel for the Tazu MC ? Let us know how you get on.

You can order the Tazu MC and slave from any X-part supplier, including Mat at Discount MG Rover spares. There are some suppliers on E-bay, such as e-car parts at Sandy, Beds.

The current thinking is that I'll give the copper pipe a go and see how it fares. But until it turns up and I've had a good look, a cup of coffee and a cogitate I don't know for sure.

I've used DMGRS as well as Rimmers in the past but their postage costs kill it for me.

Also going direct to Tazu has resulted in a significant saving. Nearly half price when compared to other suppliers. £146 for slave, master and postage.

Now, it's not that I'm tight but I'm really starting to lose heart with the car and begrudge spending more money than I have to on it.

Still once this is done it'll never need doing again....

Edit...just checked out eBay as per your post and seen similar prices to what I paid! Still I've save about £6!

Edit 2...damn! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-75-M...0AAOSw0e9Uy11V . I shouldn't have looked! Although I'm not sure it is Tazu slave? ( It probably is....)

Edit 3...maybe not http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-TAZU-M...8AAOSwstxVe-48. I'm feeling better!

That is not a Tazu slave, nor an LUK one I am guessing at that price - it looks like a cheap after-market one (ECP sell Continental clutch kits for the 75, so it might be one of those).

If i remember correctly i contacted them as the sale seemed a little incomplete but they confirmed that it had bee packed & was on its way...If your concerned it cant do any harm to contact them....Stick with the copper pipe at first it does not look long enough compared to a LUK one
but you dictate how it feeds through the engine bay unlike the LUK one which is preshaped & can only take one path to the slave....I connected
the pipe to the master first then fitted it
