That's why I shop at Tesco. They've a crummy image, tax fiddlers, tired shops with ever wider isles, lower prices and insurance premiums. Just what most folks need these days.

Try Sheilas Wheels- Ive the same as your Tesco quote and they are pretty good at the Customer service-and they are located in Scotland as opposed to some far flung outpost of the Empire-and even a silly southerner like me can understand Jocks- my best drinking mate is a Jock, although he denys it just because he was born in England. Mind you its taken 50years to train him to pay round for round!! Chris S.

I'm quite impressed with Tesco Insurance. This year, the premium was virtually the same as last, around £200. They were the cheapest on the comparison websites too. Bit hypocritical really, I hate shopping there.

Sainsburys are always more upmarket, and therefore more expensive. Never use them, even for groceries!

Who owns your insurer?
If you haven't ever done it - do read the Adrian Flux report on "Who owns your insurer?"
If you google it you get the link. Makes very interesting reading ....... |

I've just insured the 75 Diesel with the AA for £173.90.
Hastings Direct quote £436.91 . What the heck is going on .
