Great race although it would have been Lewis's if it weren't for a dodgy head rest

Interesting that Vettel did not deny the 'ramming' . Sad too, that he has said 'we are men' which reading between the lines suggests that it was deliberate attempt to attract Hamilton's attention ('we dont have direct radio contact').

If that bears out to be true, I think Vettel needs a suspension for this!

Lewis was sublime in his post-race interview with Lee McKenzie on C4.

What a race It was only short of Suzi Wolff donning a Penelope Pitstop outfit & it would have been a proper Whacky races.

Best action packed race by far Baku certainly delivered.

Speaking of Wolff that's the first time I've seen Toto get really shirty with a Sky reporter (Ted of Teds notebook} I think him & Vettel need anger management lessons.

What a race for Ricciardo unbelievable win from his position after the first lap. Congrats to Stroll for his first podium, losing 2nd place right at the death was tough but he couldn't do anything about it.

Why cant all the races be like this.

Best most amazing nail biting race in years for us viewers and spectators.

Vettel should have been red flagged immediately. Using your car as a weapon against another driver, especially at this level of racing is totally completely utterly unacceptable. 10 second penatly and 3 points? He should have been suspended for at least the next two races. As was said on CH4, what he did was the equal of headbutting an opponent on the football field.

Ali.

or tight lipped I am not convinced there wasnt a purposeful delay in his acceleration to destabilise those behind him. I am not talking a heavy burst of speed, but at least something to reduce the bottleneck for those going into that corner behind him. He stated that is what he did on the previous restarts. Not illegal, but certainly not sporting. It is not the first time he has tried unsporting techniques to affect those around him. (when he didnt assist Rosberg last year, which allowed Vettel to get perilously close to him, I wonder how he felt when the team today refused to order Bottas to slow down to help him catch Vettel!!!! He is a hypocrite so full of his own importance, but in saying that he is a good driver, sadly not the sportsman or statesman he could be - unfortunately as I've said previously, that is not what F1 is about any longer)

Agreed, after his subsequent comments. At least he was semi honest about it lol. Incidentally it is black flagged

Although it made good viewing, i thought it was more of lottery than a race.
