The abdominal aortic aneurysm is not as big, as was claimed last week. I don't know what the surgeon is going to say about the results. If he offers surgery, I will go ahead. I am seeing him on Thursday. He did say last week, if I need the aneurysms done, he would do the hernia FOC.

I hope the BOGOF goes well Phil & in a timely matter

I've just been researching Vascular problems this afternoon trying to get an understanding of it. Dads not good at all & has been diagnosed with Vascular dementia, It's like someone has switched a switch in his head & he doesn't know who I am or Mam, heartbreaking to see him like this to say the least.

You have my sympathy Ian. My uncle was a very intelligent man, director of a huge auction business in the north west til dementia got him. When he passed away I asked my cousin how he was, replied I'm fine. I lost my father a long time ago.

BOGOF .... lol thank you Ian

What you describe is more distressing for your family, than it is for your dad and is the only saving feature worth having for him (no insight), with this awful and terrible disease.

If you need to ask questions, please feel free to pm.

Good morning Chillers, heavy hanging, black clouds here, rain can't be far away. Another British Lions game to watch in an hours time . I just love this retirement lark, working is a mug's game .

Good morning Derek, horrible rainy day here. I've just had my usual brekkie which always tastes better when you're sat on the inside looking out at it somehow.
